Short version: this site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics. No cookies, no third-party trackers beyond that, and nothing that identifies you personally.

What gets collected

Cloudflare Web Analytics records, in aggregate: which pages were viewed, where the visit came from (referrer), rough country/region (derived from your IP, not stored), browser and device type, and Core Web Vitals timing data. That’s it.

What doesn’t

No cookies are set. No persistent identifier is attached to you. Your IP address is processed transiently to derive the country and is not stored. There’s no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting, and no profile of your visit that survives the request. Under the EU GDPR and the Dutch Cookiewet this falls outside the scope of consent — no banner needed.

If you’d rather block it anyway, any standard tracker-blocker (uBlock Origin, Brave, Firefox Strict mode) will stop the beacon from loading. The site works identically without it.

The rest

No contact form. The site search (Pagefind) runs entirely in your browser. Outbound links to GitHub and LinkedIn behave like any other link — clicking them takes you to those services, where their own privacy policies apply.

If any of this changes — embedded video, a contact form, anything that processes personal data — this page will explain what and why before it lands.
